The West Palm Beach Chapter of The Links, Incorporated served as Hostesses of the Opening Night of the African-American Film Festival on March 16, 2006. The event was held at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts. The Links Young Ladies participated in the event, which featured the silent film “Stormy Weather.” Link Freddie Jefferson opened the event with a presentation on the history of blacks in film. Following the event, the Links hosted a dessert and coffee reception.
