The Walk and Roll a Thon for Health and Wellness accomplishes several program objectives for the Links, Incorporated:
- Promotes health and wellness for all ages
- Reinforces elimination of childhood obesity
- Raises funds to provide services for local community organizations. This year, the West Palm Beach Chapter of the Links, Incorporated will raise funds for The Community Health Center of West Palm Beach which assists uninsured individuals and families in need of medical services and The Links Foundation, Inc.
- The event will target individual walkers and skaters as well as groups from local schools, churches, youth groups, and many other organizations.
